About

Meet your practitioner

I'm a nurse practitioner specialized in mental health, trained at the Université de Montréal. My practice was built in secondary and tertiary care — where the most complex cases are seen.

I managed the first-episode psychosis clinic in Laval and worked as assistant charge nurse in inpatient psychiatry at the Cité de la Santé. Those settings taught me that no distress is too heavy to receive, and that fast access often changes the course of an illness.

I opened this clinic to offer that access without the wait. I see patients in French, English and Spanish, because talking about your mental health is hard enough — doing it in a language that isn't your own is harder still.

Your first appointment

What to expect

A first psychiatric appointment can feel daunting. Here is exactly how it goes.

01
A conversation, not an interrogation

We take the time to understand what brings you here: your symptoms, your history, what you have already tried. You set the pace. Nothing obliges you to say everything the first time.

02
A careful assessment

I assess your symptoms in a structured way, taking into account your medical history and current medication. The goal is to understand, not to label you.

03
Clear explanations

I explain what I understand about your situation, in words that make sense to you. You can ask any question you want.

04
A plan you agree with

We build a treatment plan together. If medication is indicated, I can prescribe it — but nothing is imposed on you. You leave with a clear plan and a scheduled follow-up.

You do not have to be "sick enough" to seek help. If something weighs on you, that is reason enough.

What to prepare

  • A list of your current medications, with doses
  • Any previous diagnoses, if you have them
  • Treatments already tried, and how they worked
  • A private, quiet place with a good connection
  • Your questions — write them down beforehand, they are easy to forget

About prescriptions

I can prescribe and adjust psychiatric medication within my scope of practice, including stimulants for ADHD, directly through telemedicine. A prescription is issued only when clinically indicated — never automatically.
